Our strength lies in our community and knowledge, but more importantly in our actions to build our community. In 2019 we realized that working together we could overcome our challenges, support each other and build upon our strengths, and out of that grew Conexión Latina Newport.

Conexión Latina Newport was established to support the needs of the Hispanic/Latino community by creating connections and partnerships with resources and advocacy, and creating pathways to increase access and representation throughout the city of Newport, Rhode Island.

Conexion Latina Newport exists on Broadway, in the heart of the Hispanic community in Newport, and serves as an accessible epicenter and home away from home, where Spanish speakers find like minded, like cultured, Spanish speaking supporters, friends and opportunities that promote health, wellness and all conditions that promote thriving.
The Work of Conexion Latina Newport
Injustice also comes in the form of lack of accessibility. We don't want to replace already existent resources, we just want to bring people to them.
