According to the 2020 census, Newport has roughly 3500, and Newport county has 8000 Hispanic residents. We estimate it is closer to 4000 in. Newport alone.


Yes we received out non-profit status in 2020


Though none of our staff are certified translators, we will provide simple, casual translation. Examples of this are translating other organizations flyers, typing letters for clients, etc.


Conexion Latina attempts to do as little service provision as possible, and our goal is to connect clients to already existing local resources. If needed, we will help them learn to navigate that system, and work with the organization to build their accessibility and Hispano-Friendliness.


CLN is primarily a minority run and 100% female lead organization.


We are predominantly funded by local foundations and some donations.


Our services are always FREE, however clients are welcome to make a donation of any amount.


We hold an immigration clinic once a month, that is run by the legal team at Sojourner house. We will also help people fill out immigration forms for them to file personally.
