They will also build and foster relationships with local health and mental health organizations and entities to aid them in becoming more in-tuned and competent both culturally and linguistically. The work includes the following areas of support:
- Access affordable primary and dental health care.
- Access necessary speciality care.
- Apply for financial health aid and/or health insurance.
- Provide culturally-appropriate health education and health promotion.
- Provide routine disease prevention opportunities such as coordinating our vaccine clinics & healthy lifestyle workshops at our activity center on Broadway.
- Advising our educational partners about how to better their systems to meet the needs of our community.
